Art date

We lucked out and got a pair of tickets to the very popular Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum. Chris and I took a few hours off work to check it out and be amazed.

It was rainy and cold waiting in the line to get in.

Everyone gets a sheet of colored sticker dots in the last room.

This wall used to be just white!

Gives you an idea of how many have visited this exhibit!

Around the world in 11 days

January and February were busy for Christina, preparing for a possible trip to Japan and India for work. In the eleventh hour, the stars aligned and everything was solidified. It was hard leaving Chris and the girls for so long, but this opportunity was too good to pass up. The trip was amazing and so productive. Great memories made!

The trip was off to a rocky start when the plane couldn't land in Tokyo because of wind.
Staying overnight in the airport, jet-lagged, was the worst!

Lots of fancy toilets in Japan

Leaving Tokyo, on to Okinawa, Mt. Fuji in the distance
