Walking Tall!

Emma has been standing on her own for quite some time and cautiously walking between things for more than 2 months. Crawling just seemed to be the safest bet for long distances! I guess she decided in the last week that she had enough practice and boldly gave up crawling altogether. Look at her go!

Hi from Emma!

11 months old!

We had unseasonably warm weather this weekend and decided to spend some time outside. Emma loved swinging with mommy and on her own. In fact, she was quite upset when we took her out of the swing. I foresee lots of trips to the playground in the spring and summer.

Post-Christmas Beach Getaway

It had been almost 6 months since the last time we took Emma to the Bevington's beach house in Bethany Beach, DE. Although the weather was much colder and there wasn't much beach time to speak of, Emma was a lot easier to manage this time around and she had a great time. And mom and dad loved getting away for a few days!

Merry Christmas!

We hosted both sets of grandparents, one great grandmother, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Lauren and 2 dogs for dinner and gifts at our house on Christmas Day. Emma wasn't exactly sure what was going on but she really loved being with her family and all of the neat stuff she received.
