Spring has sprung!
We took advantage of fair weather this weekend and spent time in the yard and on the playground. Emma loves flowers, just like her Memere.
Snowstorm 2013
Emma finally got some use out of her snowsuit during the "Snowquester" storm in early March. The snow was so wet and dense, we weren't able to stay outside too long. We had just enough time to build a snowman and snap a picture that ended up on the local evening news thanks to our weatherman pal Alex Liggitt. It was the highlight of our week!
Grandpa Bevington's 90th Birthday
Our beloved Bevington patriarch turned 90 in February and we were fortunate enough to celebrate with all of his family and close friends at a dinner in Maryland. Chris has a black eye in the bottom picture because Emma accidentally bumped into him, giving "hard-headed" a new meaning!
Bethany Beach in January
We decided to take a little vacation to Bethany Beach with Chris' parents in January. We even managed a walk on the beach, even though it was chilly. Can't wait to get back when it's warmer.
Chris' Birthday
We celebrated Chris' 33rd birthday with his best buddies and former roommates from
Arlington with the Bevingtons in January. This is the 6th year Chris' parents have hosted their annual couples dinner. We're so happy we've kept this tradition going.
Cook Mountain House
We have some catching up to do!
We've been so busy since January that we've been neglectful of the blog. A few updates ... We're excited to say that Christina has successfully completed 5 months of full-time training at work and will return to part-time and spending more time with Emma. We sold our house the first day it hit the market, and closed on it this last week. The search for a new single-family home is now on the top of our priorities list. And Chris has started a new job that seems to be a perfect fit.
Emma celebrated her 2nd birthday in February with her family and a few good friends. The Princess Sofia-themed party was a great success with delicious cupcakes made by Grandma and some adorable tutus made by Memere. I think the girls had a lot of fun!
