Mommy's Bday Tea

We celebrated Christina's birthday with another fabulous tea at the Coach and Horses tea room in Winchester. This was Annie's first tea and she had a ball, as did Kevin and Chris, who were also first-timers.

The sun decided to come out for my birthday lunch!

So many delectable selections!

Maple sugar tea, her favorite!

Trying a sip!

Nana made it to tea too!

And special guest Mary from Pennsylvania!

Fall Frenzy

Fall is truly the time when things kick into high gear at our house. Our weeks have been so full of school, activities and parties!

A trip to Patient First for Daddy when he hurt himself while redoing the mud room (he's fine)

Patrick's 3rd birthday

Annie loves school and is so excited to go.

Skipping home together from the bus stop.

Emma's best buddy Melina at a classmate's birthday

Apple Picking 2016

We were fortunate to choose the first cool fall day to pick apples at Hartland Orchard with the Citrons. The trees were full of delicious apples.

Annie's first apple-picking

We filled that bag to the tip top

The apple were plentiful but we liked using the poles too

Dutch Wonderland!

We finally made it to Dutch Wonderland after a couple of attempts to go. The kids were so excited to go with their friends Addie and Patrick. Emma wasn't crazy about most of the rides but we convinced her to try them out. Annie, on the other hand, was fearless and wanted to try everything, even though she was too little for a lot of the bigger rides.

We got there when they opened and walked onto most of the rides, no summer crowds!

Emma had to do some rides with an adult

We had to reassure Emma that the dinosaurs weren't real!

One of Emma's favorite rides, surprisingly

Having a ball!

Buddies ride together!

Birthday Evening

Night out! We got a babysitter and spent a night in DC to celebrate Christina's birthday.

Dinner at Le Diplomate, delicious (there's a steak behind that mound of fries).

Duck just how he likes it

We topped off the evening with the Rabbit Fur Coat Anniversary show at Lincoln Theater.
