Happy Halloween!

Our little monkey has had a busy October; pumpkin patches, apple picking, pumpkin carving, and numerous fall festivities, all leading up to Halloween! Unfortunately, she's on the mend after being under the weather the last few days and won't be trick or treating this year. Instead, she'll wear her costume to hand out candy to the kids in the neighborhood. Can't wait until next year!

A Good Day for a Hike

Emma went on her first big hike to Bull Run Mountain this weekend. We were treated to a beautiful view at the top. Emma took a nice nap on the way down and we all slept well after all the exercise!

Locked Up!

A Day in the Country

We drove out to Stribling Orchard in Markham, VA to pick some apples, visit a pumpkin patch and enjoy the beautiful fall weather with Scott, Liz and Addie Trolan.

Hello Fall!

The cool weather has finally arrived! We took Emma on her first hike to Fountainhead Park this afternoon and she loved being outside. The baby hiking backpack was awesome. Thanks to the folks at NetSmartz who gave it to us!

We've gotten behind on posts. It's been a busy month! Emma is now 8 months old and she has really changed since she started moving. She's keeping us on our toes!
