OBX Vacation

We spent 5 wonderful days in Nags Head with friends over the week of Memorial Day. Emma loves the beach!

Ketchup Queen

Emma loves to dip things in ketchup; eggs, bread, chicken, fries, anything goes! She even loves ketchup by itself. We've found ourselves stopping for fries at McDonalds, Wendys and Burger King more often than we have in the last 10 years. Here she is at Burger King on our way home from Bethany Beach.

Our little mermaid

Emma had her first experience of the beach this past weekend as a walking, talking toddler. She loves the water, so she was thrilled to see the ocean and all of the waves. This water baby is in luck, because we have quite a few beach trips planned this summer. Fun ahead!

Hell has frozen over

After years of croc-bashing, Chris finally convinced Christina to buy a pair of the dreaded plastic shoes for herself. Now we're all in crocs!

May I have this dance?

We met Aunt Lauren and Alex (Mr. Yuck, to Emma) at Three Foxes vineyard today for a picnic and some wine! Emma had a great time roaming around the grounds, learning about baggo from Daddy ... and seemed to have a fondness for a certain statue she came across. Fun times!
