Another successful year of tomatoes, cucumbers and herbs and our girls love to go out to the garden and reap the fruits of our labor. Our strawberries didn't produce much but we're hoping they come back next year with a vengeance. Our peppers have also underwhelmed, but we think it might be the fault of our wild cherry tomatoes taking over the garden.

Beach Fun (again)

Lolo and Alex joined us for a fun weekend at the beach and brought perfect summer weather.

It's no secret that Emma can be quite dramatic, so we enrolled her in her very first drama class. She learned to make props, do hair and makeup, and did lots of singing and dancing. Emma had a great time and even participated in a short performance at the end of the week.

Emma was Annie's age the last time we made a trip to this fun Fairfax County park. The kids had a great time and went home absolutely exhausted.
