Monkey in a Tree

Bow-wow

Emma and Addie came up with an inventive little game at the beach that mostly consisted of chasing each other around the house and yelling "bow-wow" over and over. It was cute to see them having so much fun together.

Back to the beach

Despite the heat, we had a lovely extended weekend with the Trolans and the Citrons at Bethany Beach. I wish we had taken more pictures!

Big Girl!

Emma has decided that it's time to be a big girl and give in to mom and dad's pleas for potty training. And things are going great! It doesn't hurt that she gets rewarded now and then for a good job.

Mountain House 4th

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's mountain house in Blacksburg for a cool retreat from the NoVa heat for the 4th of July. Emma was too tired to stay up for fireworks again, but she still had a great time. Among the highlights: catching up with pal Emily Katz, playing on the playground, bike riding with Daddy, hiking, and walking around VA Tech. We can't wait to go back in a few weeks!

Father's Day Beach Trip

We celebrated father's day with Poppy and Daddy along with Memere, Lauren, and Alex at Bethany Beach. Emma is finally old enough to fully enjoy everything the beach has to offer. We had a blast!
