Mommy's Bday Tea

We celebrated Christina's birthday with another fabulous tea at the Coach and Horses tea room in Winchester. This was Annie's first tea and she had a ball, as did Kevin and Chris, who were also first-timers.

Fall Frenzy

Fall is truly the time when things kick into high gear at our house. Our weeks have been so full of school, activities and parties!

Apple Picking 2016

We were fortunate to choose the first cool fall day to pick apples at Hartland Orchard with the Citrons. The trees were full of delicious apples.

Dutch Wonderland!

We finally made it to Dutch Wonderland after a couple of attempts to go. The kids were so excited to go with their friends Addie and Patrick. Emma wasn't crazy about most of the rides but we convinced her to try them out. Annie, on the other hand, was fearless and wanted to try everything, even though she was too little for a lot of the bigger rides. 

We got there when they opened and walked onto most of the rides, no summer crowds!

Birthday Evening

Night out! We got a babysitter and spent a night in DC to celebrate Christina's birthday.

We topped off the evening with the Rabbit Fur Coat Anniversary show at Lincoln Theater.

Getting Weird

Christina's last Wolf Trap concert of the year was Weird Al with Amanda and Jenna. It was a beautiful night and a great way to end the summer!
