Fabulous Hilton Head

We made the long trek down to Hilton Head for Aunt Lauren's wedding and we had a wonderful time. The wedding was beautiful, the beaches were gorgeous, and we enjoyed an extra "summer-like" week before returning to the chill of Northern Virginia.

Entering SC on I-95 (what turned into a 12 hour trip because of hurricane detours)

Finally in Hilton Head at our wonderful time share, courtesy of Grandpa Bevington.

Wonderfully wide, beautiful beaches

Enjoying dinner by the ocean
Yay, Uncle Jeff made it!

Some really great bird watching to be done on the island

Hanging out with Lauren and Memere at the Westin. What a gorgeous resort.

Looking toward the patio where the wedding ceremony was held at the Westin. We had gorgeous weather!

Rehearsal dinner
Big day! We had a downpour early in the day and then the clouds parted
and the sun shone for the rest of the day.
The girls with Lauren before the ceremony

Checking out the pool before their walk down the aisle
Emma was ready to dance before the reception even started.

Annie really got into the neon bracelets and necklaces at the reception.

Photobooth fun

After the wedding, we got into true relax mode

Poolside play

Hanging with the extended Bevington relatives at the timeshare

The beach was so wide when the tide went out

The girls loved the tide pools

Cabana life

Playground fun

Collecting golf balls at the course by our place

A beautiful view of the moon from our outdoor bar seats

So many interesting treausres to find on the beaches

It was great having Memere and Poppy with us every day

Cruising down the bike paths, admiring the Spanish moss in the trees. HH is so bike-friendly!
